Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

By downloading, installing or using Simple Invoice (the "App"), or by purchasing a license, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

2. The service

Simple Invoice is a desktop application for creating, saving and printing invoices. It runs locally on your computer and does not require an account or an internet connection for its core features.

3. Free trial

Simple Invoice includes a 7-day free trial with full access to every feature, no credit card required. When the trial ends, the App locks until a license is activated — nothing you created is lost, and you can pick up exactly where you left off once you purchase.

4. License

A paid license grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Simple Invoice on one computer, for as long as you like (a "lifetime license"), including free updates. If you move to a new computer, write to support@mysimpleinvoice.app and we'll transfer your activation. You may not resell, sublicense, share or redistribute your license or the App.

5. Payments

Licenses are a one-time payment, processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles billing, applicable taxes and receipts — we never see or store your card details.

6. Refunds

Because Simple Invoice offers a full-featured, no-credit-card 7-day trial so you can confirm the App fits your needs before paying anything, purchases are generally final and non-refundable.

That said, if you run into a genuine technical problem that prevents the App from working and we're unable to resolve it, contact support@mysimpleinvoice.app within 14 days of your purchase and we'll review a refund on a case-by-case basis.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer or decompile the App except where permitted by law, and not to use it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual property

Simple Invoice, its design and its code are owned by us. These Terms grant you a license to use the App — they don't transfer any ownership rights to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
